This design's split shoulder element is inspired by several Victorian Era diamond rings we have had.  Eight prongs have been hand filed to sharp points holding the diamond low to the finger. This example features an antique 2.25 carat high crowned old mine cut diamond.

Hand fabricated in our Texas workshop, this ring is in our custom blend of 18K rose gold. A more subdued, darker tone than commercially available rose gold. We call this color "old gold" and created the alloy in the spirit of the many 19th century rings we have handled.
