The /B Mod MGC Square-1 by Isaac Myers makes various improvements on the stock puzzle. It features fully magnetized edges for more consistent magnetic strength during cubeshape, additional equator magnets for better tactility through turns, and maglev core which especially helps this puzzle to feel more flexible while also decreasing lockups
To complement these mods, the cube is lubed with Weight 5 in the core and high-friction points, Silk in the inner rings for smoothness, and Lubest XMT10 elsewhere for speed.
