It's easy to see why this legendary favorite-designed by the famed Castiglioni brothers has garnered so many awards, even earning a place in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

The Toio floor lamp has an enamel steel base that supports a hexagon-shaped, nickel-plated brass stem. Along the stem are fishing rod rings used to guide the electrical cord from the bulb to the transformer. A cleat on the base, like that found on a boat or ship, serves as a functional element designed to keep the cord neatly coiled in when the lamp is adjusted to a lower height.

In this version Toio comes with an LED bulb and provides indirect light. Adjustable height. Available in black, red or white finish. Inspiration behind the design: The contemporary floor lamp was designed by brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, who were inspired by a car's headlight.
